One year the WBC had a Staff portacabin hard up against the wall at PGD { Near West 20 { or what was called West 20 )} Our staff car pass would get us in the last field to the wall { and pick up our pass at the portacabin } - parked my Astra Van very near the pedestrian path and worked the whole weekend - After the WBC Party on the the Sunday Night { so early Monday morning } I took my gear up in two trips and on the second trip my torch light up something under one of the back wheels - loaded up the van and decided to take a look .

It was twelve bottles of lager without any cardboard that had been placed under my van so it was bloody lucky I looked otherwise I would have driven over them { so would not have been Teletubby happy if I had a puncture }

If we wind the clock back - that was one of the sunny years so I reckon someone had been carrying them but decided to hid them under my van and then plan to retrieve them at a later date but either forgot or was too stoned to work out which van was which.

I picked them up and gave them to my Team at the next event as I don't drink much.

The WBC has used many camps since I started working for them but the Staff portacabin was only in that field a few years so it had to be one of these years 1997/98/99 - 2000/2.

im afraid i have to agree with the cat woman there, when i noticed a fairly long post by someone who's seen more glastos than half the forum put together i was expecting a real quality tale of glasto excess or madness, even when i got to the '12 bottles of lager' bit i was expecting the story to have a twist in the tale but alas that was our lot :P try walking round the campsites on the monday morning this year, you never know you might just find 'a box of 18 tins of lager', now that really would be a tale to tell the grand kids! :P
