Hello,

I am posting this hear because IOWers may (hopefully) read it!

It is an event I have organised to raise money for the Parkinson's Society and it would be wonderful if even 1 of you came to show your support of local talent on the Isle of Wight!

IMAGINATION, THE MAGICAL VARIETY SHOW:

RESCHEDULED DATE 27 APRIL 2010.

TICKETS NOW ON SALE, with all proceeds to Parkinson’s Disease Society.

Imagination, a variety show featuring live music, dance and comedy will take place on 27 April, at Medina Theatre in aid of the Parkinson’s Disease Society.

Included in the line up are the Raw Samba band, a magical female pianist performing original music and a quirky self taught ukulele player. Dancers will be entertaining you in their own unique styles, fresh comedic talent will be showcased, and there is even a barber shop choir.

Originally due to take place on January 5th, the show had to be postponed at the last minute due to the severe snow storms that swept that Island that evening. Tickets from that event will be honoured on the 27th April.

The event is organised by first year Buckinghamshire New University student Roseanne Cox, who said “Imagination is a fusion of sight, sound and spectacle that is sure to keep you on your toes. It aims to celebrate the eclectic mix of talent on the Island and the magic that they can create when united.”

Ron Tweedy, Isle of Wight Parkinson’s Disease Society Chairman, said ‘Imagination is going to be a wonderful evening showcasing Island talent, an evening not to be missed. Roseanne was inspired to organise this event after her grandfather, the Rev. Dennis Cox passed away in December having suffered with Parkinsons for several years.’

The show will now take place at Medina Theatre on Tuesday April 27th at 7pm. All ticket holders from the 5th January will be honoured.
