I always thought it was Roger who didn't want to do it, not Dave?

I admit I've seen Roger more than I've seen Dave (He called the band "Pink Floyd" at the time, but Roger singing Dave's vocals still sounds a bit odd to me. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Glasto 2002, and even Roger's recent gig at the O2 that I saw (despite the venue), but it doesn't seem right.

I'm sure the same would apply the other way round (although it's been fifteen years since I saw Gilmour on the Division Bell Tour).

And for the record, I don't like the Wall. I find it too moany and depressing. Sure there are some stand out tracks sure, but it's bitch bitch bitch. And the same applies to the Final Cut too. Momentary Lapse of Reason isn't very good either. And let's face it nor is the Division Bell.

And I don't particularly Ummagumma either.

Agree on all counts.

Rogers gigs - Snowy Shite playing Daves guitar parts - no thanks

Daves gigs - Roger singing Daves bits - no thanks

Id still love to see either but I just wish Dave would stop being such a moan (its Dave who wont do it) and get back together. Rick or no Rick.

But that's just 2 moans about Roger's gigs, there's not one about David's...

And what's the big deal about getting back together? For what? To play the same material they already play at the moment, but alongside someone they have a long history of disliking (even hating) and charge even more money to satisfy promoters? I wouldn't want to see that.

I'd much rather see another solo tour from them both. That's what they clearly prefer or we would have seen movement from each side by now.

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
