sarahcotgrove
Anyone going to Vintage at Goodwood? the line up is so different from the usual festivals - you would NEVER be able to see this lot all in one place - also, a stage for each decade from 40's to the 80's, incl.an 80s warehouse,a 70's ROLLER DISCO with 2 floors and a burlesque club.I just cant get excited about any other festival after seeing this website and the press coverage, Lily Allens opening her clothes shop there too! - is anyone on here going? dubversion
does anyone have any idea how sales for this are going? It's my one festy this year that I'm not playing at (going as a guest) but I haven't met a SINGLE person who's bought a ticket. I know it's outside the usual "festy circuit" so perhaps sales are all happening in Chelsea but I'm starting to wonder if it'll happen... mouikey
My hubby and I are going, and really looking forward to it... dunno about tix sales - we go ours 241 so it was a bargain!!! Just trying to decide whether to camp or drive down each day (we don't live too far away). Need to get some shopping done so I have at least one 'vintage' outfit to wear in advance of the festival! I really hope its gonna be good
SecretShame
I am really tempted by this, looks really good fun. Is anyone else thinking of camping? We would probably go down on Friday so wonder what space would be like in the camp site being as it opens on Thursday.

danbailey80
Thought this a great success...Very different but it had it's own unique charm...Anyone else go?
the-beast
Went on the Sunday and had a great time, think a lot of the crowd were not really there for the music though.
Medina
I was also there Sunday. Thought it interesting but a tad pricey for what was on offer (£55 for a day ticket plus £5 for parking plus extra charges for some of the internal attractions). Many of those present clearly had plenty of cash to splash - the champagne bar was busy despite sky-high prices for a bottle of Veuve. Liked the internal decoration in the different venues but disliked the amount of corporate branding and the high prices (£1.60 for a polystyrene cup of tea). Still an interesting concept though. Will watch how it develops next year. Friends enjoyed it more than I did.
