Right so i know all the basics about the fest etc.

just now actualy geting the tickets..

i need a few and dont want to have to tell my mates that they sold out.

so is there like a time on the 29th that they come out?

or could it just be randomly through the day?

:P:P

- open lots of browser windows / tabs

- on more than one PC / Mac if possible

- with more than one official ticket outlet

- start refreshing 10 minutes prior to launch as very often site goes live a few minutes early

- if you have dyslexic fingers, have your card number already typed out in Word / Notepad/ etc and copied to clipboard ready to paste

- pretend that you are Rick Wakeman (that went over your head didn't it?)

- if you fail to get tickets after 45 minutes, get a coffee and come back an try again, as tickets get cancelled and come back up

- if you still fail, watch this site over the next week as people will tell you when tickets are back on sale (e.g. returns, cancellations, etc)

No it is 7 0 clock, but get online a bit earlier and keep this site up, it is always hectic getting tickets and somebody might post a direct link here.

There is a lot of info about do's and don'ts on this site, there is a search button at the bottom so you could use that to find some helpful threads and it might be a cool idea to go back to the threads from the release date last year to get an idea of the kind of stuff that goes on, on the day.

Its best to get a direct link, which means you dont have to go thru the home page of see etc. Got more chance...

It normal sells out very quickly. But SOLD OUT does not mean you are not gonna get tickets.

We normal have to get around 20 tickets and never failed... We sometimes sit back until about 10 or 11 o clock, its risky but for the past 3 years not failed us. The big rush as gone, normally no crashing or queues.

SOLD OUT means there have sold most tickets but they have been known to hold some back releasing them in batches.

Peoples credit/debit cards get declined or they have enter wrong details. After tickets released and you don't get them first time round on internet or HMV, check the offical site or even here it will tell you when they release a batch of tickets. Sometimes they wait while they got a good number of tickets returned to them (declined etc) before they re-release them

I wouldn't be surprised if tickets sell a bit slower this year. I certainly doubt that there'll be as many amateur touts having a go after last year, particularly considering the current rumours.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
