falling into a christian tent at 7:30 am after an all day/nighter in 2008. I turned to one of the christians and said "do you know stairway to heaven mate", he smiled and played it note perfect on guitar! A gezza stumbles in and takes the guitar and starts playing something or other, his mrs runs in, stands in front of him and whispers "come home", this goes on for about ten minutes each time she says it - she says it a bit louder till she screams "JUST COME HOME YOU C*NT!". It was my catch phrase for the rest of the weekend, still makes me laugh now!

First time last year, but I have awesome random memories of feeling totally at peace, wondering why living in a refugee camp for 5 days is so appealing and just accepting that it is

1 Went wandering just with OH to avalon one sunny afternoon.(not sure which day) OH props himself up against the picket fence where the circus skills were having a smoke (Is that Avalon?) - and I had my face painted. We were both in our element sitting no more than 2 metres apart, truely contented with life

2 Sunday morning feeling a little jaded by now, sat outside JP tent with a group of mates. OH whips out his wallet, hands me money and says - go find eyelashes and face painting place ..... meet you back here in an hour.... so a trip to the vanity van, huge eyelashes, masses of glitter and this fairy felt great again .

3 Standing on the side of the BBC intrducing stage while on Thursday night Zane Lowe did a Dj set, and again on Friday morning for Live Lounge with friendly fires and watching hte crowd and thinking what a buzz the performers must get

4 the singalongs made my hair stand on end ...... Blur- awesome, Rolf Harris... Legend.... the list is and was endless

5 Sitting having a beer by the Glade (?) watching the Green police evicting people from the bushes and watching their faces as they'd been caught !!

Oh the memories- can't wait to build on them and get new ones this year

I randomly called one of the Brothers Bar servers "Shag" when ordering my umpteenth Pear Cider. He pissed himself laughing. Every time I got within 10 metres of the bar for the rest of the festival a voice would boom out "Alright Shag!". Got me served quicker, but rather awkward as I'm a bloke!

Cleared the seating area by JazzWorld by pissing myself on the spot, as I couldn't be bothered to queue for the toilets! And we were all having such a lovely chat.

Getting a round of applause by doing a running bomb into a mud puddle drenching 2 trendies in a dinghy. They were covered in mud and water and not happy for all of 20 seconds until a photographer took their photo. Then everything was cool.

Invading Iggy's stage!!! Saw the aftermath the next day. The Other Stage looked like a mud igloo!

Great days!

Bloody hell why can't it be June already?

It'll be my first Glasto this summer, lord knows how I've gone this long without it, and I can't wait. I've even spent the last hour online purchasing a 9m telescopic flag pole, a trolley with bouncy wheels, a national express ticket and a new sleeping bag. Excited much?

That blur singalong vid gave me the chills. Having experienced similar trance-enducing Blur and Elbow singalongs at Hyde Park and Beni last summer, I can't wait for the Glasto version. I'm thinking U2 are going to quite a response to Still Haven't Found... and I'm not even a fan.

    • He was also arrested for allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend.   Such a charmer.
    • George Borg - now he was a character. Both terrifying and endearing, often in the space of 5 minutes. Entertaining times back then!
    • Shamelessly got AI to put my lineup prediction into a poster. This is based on Wacken and what I think we may get generally. Could just as easily replace Knocked Loose with Malev because it’ll be one of the other. Wish we could have a scenario where they co-headline and each get like 75mins or something.
    • There’s normally a high churn but to only have one bit-part player left from the season before is very strange - unless you go into administration. Our new manager made his signings early - mainly from the league below - so interesting to see what happens.
    • As has been said Trump wasn't lying when he said he has solved multiple wars.   I mean he's ended the Iranian war at least 9 times so far and counting...
