Payment not been taken yet.....

I've just checked my credit card balance, and there is no sign of a transaction to buy V tickets

I've bought 6 weekend camping yellow for Chelmsford, and I did receive a confirmation!

Could something have gone wrong? I guess they must take the payment or at least make sure the funds are there before they send out confirmations?

They send confirmation when its not fully paid for. My email said "Ticket Order Confirmation" as the subject and said it was booked, but lower down it said...

"You have been charged a total of £714.80 and this will appear on your statement as 'EVENT TICKETS'

To check the status of your entry tickets go to http://www.seetickets.com/tracker

This order is subject to See Tickets getting authorisation from your card issuer for the funds requested, and the terms and conditions which can be viewed here http://www.seetickets.com/terms"

The bold would suggest that they send confirmation before they take the funds but then again in the same email it says "you have been charged XXX" which would suggest they did have some sort of confirmation of available funds.

I wouldnt worry about it too much though, credit card payments work slightly differently to debit card payments so if its not gone by tomorrow afternoon ring them. They wouldnt send confirmation if you had paid on a dud card I dont think

The other thing that slightly worried me was the fact that about an hour after I used the card to pay for tickets, I tried to withdraw cash with it (lost my bank card ) and it was refused..

I suppose it could be the credit card company maybe seeing it as a suspisious payment because it's over a grand? I usually only use the card for smaller payments...

I'm nowhere near the limit and I haven't missed any payments as far as I'm aware..!

Just had a look through a couple of statements and it seems that there are other payments I have made which have taken up to a week to appear...

Ah well.... If it's failed, I'll just have to get on the case for more tickets later on

Ive checked my account and mine isnt showing either. I paid on my debit card but Im not unduly worried i will show tomorrow or Ill ring them. Had an email to confirm, it will take a while for all the payments to go through there will be thousands today!!
