Just finished reading the Glastonbury book “Glastonbury: An Oral History of the Music, Mud and Magic”, very interesting if you like to read into the history of the festival.

I am happy to post this on free of charge to anyone who would like to read it just drop me a line.

Nice idea.

I’d be interested to see how far it gets.

It took me a few weeks to read but I only get half hour lunch break to read it in.

I will be sending to Milkyjoe later today on the promise of a Cider at the Efest meet – seems like a bargain to me.

I will certainly pass this on once I've read which should be in the next couple of weeks as I go abroad to work on the 21st for 9 whole weeks! :P

On the plus side by the time I get back I'll only have 4 weeks of running round and putting my tent up every day before setting off to Pilton... :(

So I'm not sure whether Katster actually wanted it or not? first refusal obviously but if not then norainplease is next on the list! :( edited to say I'm a doofus and I really should read the whole thread. Katster is last on the list, norainplease up next. :P

Phil, if you haven't already posted it, stick your name inside the front cover and then each reader can do the same, last up brings the book with them...

That's a great idea!!

Nice, where are you going? Anywhere nice? Wish I was going away until 4 weeks before Glasto!!

I'm off to Qatar in the Middle East to get a suntan before June! :P

If you PM me when you're done reading I'll send you my addy!!

This could be good if it works!!

:P

Edit: orrrrrr we could set up an MFG to avoid having to resurrect the thread each time someone needs to post it on!!

Am getting a bit carried away on this aren't I!!! Oh well!! :P:P

That's a great idea, about putting your name in the book :P

And yes, I do want the book but like I said, I'm a slow reader so once popularity has slowed down, I'll take it then....I don't want to hold the line up!!!

I don't mind if I don't get it until after the festival, I might not even be going to Glastonbury this year :P

That would be a shame :P

I'm glad my idea took off, go me! (hope the thread starter doesn't mind, they were giving the book away anyway? :P )
