i dont understand why everyone is so f**king cynical?

you're nice to people on their birthdays

you're nice to family at christmas

what is wrong with being overly romantic on valentines day?

i've surprised my girlfriend with Gorrilaz tickets, LCD soundsystem tickets, disney on ice tickets, meals, cinema trips and random gifts throughout the year...

i do it cause i love her

so when our anniversary, christmas, her birthday or valentines day comes up, i go overboard

because its nice

life is a lot more enjoyable when you stop whinging about things and just enjoy things for the sake of them

life is enjoyable when you do things when you want to, because you feel that it's appropriate at that time, because you love someone and want to do something that means something to them, when YOU want to and not when you're told to.

if you want to buy things for your girlfriend on valentines day, fair enough, but you don't need valentines day to be happy in life.

but HATING valentines day just because it's "commercial" is shit

mothers day, fathers day, easter, halloween and christmas are all "commercial", but an excuse to have a bit more fun then any other day....
