I was there last year, and basically I get to park the car much nearer to the tents!

I just checked the rockness site re tickets and there was nothing on there so thanks for the info

I bought VIP camping last year, but camped in the normal area so was a waste of money tbh. Couches were good in the VIP area on the sunday when I was knackered tho lol

VIP is worth having at a major festival eg Leeds/Reading but not as much worth having at a medium sized festival where camping space is not likely to be at as much of a premium, and where facilities are probably not that bad/crowded anyway.

Was lucky enough to be in the guest area at leeds fest and having been in there you'd never get me in the normal field now. There is a nice catering place that has very short queues and much better food for the same price as the terrible burger vans everyone else has to put up with, but again this is not an issue at rockness/bestival where food stalls are generally of a high standard even if they are expensive.

went to camp bestival last year and its normal camping was better than leeds fest VIP, so there you go!
