Shame though, a band with some classics, plus they did a few JD songs live as well.

On a side note but related - Who here thinks 24 Hour Party People is the best film of all time? I do.

Great film.

"Control" is worth watching for a different perspective, written by Ian Curtis's widow, and with (obviously) a fantastic soundtrack.

I luuuurve New Order. They're brilliant - but shocking live! Was in 2004 they played? Crap. Shame, but they are definitely a studio band.

Saw them on their last tour at Wolves Civic and enjoyed it very much!

Saw them 3 or 4 times and the last one in 2006 sounded superb. Thought it was mega. Sumner is the worst f*cking front man of all time though.

Whilst we are on the subject sort of !

Last year before we went into see White Lees at Leeds my mate wanted a light and got chatting

to some young kids from Castleford.

They had no idea about White Lies so asked us , we said they were a bit Joy Divison ish !

"Oh they played last year " one mate said to the other

When we looked perplexed he then sang that bad tune with the "listen to Joy Division ! "

Seems like I'm the only one who enjoyed them in 2005, fair enough their performance wasn't great but I love their tunes, and it was the only only time i've ever seen them, True faith and World in Motion was wicked in my opinon.......
