not got my back up about it? just seems pointless showing it.

Plus that post was so stupid.... Drinking? it happens everywhere... not just at festivals.

Charity is hardly something we woudl complain about, and thats one of Glasto's selling points anyway.

Fashion?? everyone wears clothes?

Welly's.... it rains a lot.

Pies and Noodles.... it's called food... people eat it every day.

Like none of these points are really very valid are they? it just seems stupid to shut down a stage so people can watch football when the festival is not about football. It would be the same for any other thing that they wanted o do it with. I wont be there so it wouldnt matter, but it just seems illogical to shut down a part of a "music and arts" festival, to show a football game that can either be recorded, watched at a local pub, or kept updated with via phones. It's not about getting backs up... just doesnt need to happen.

Well it still gives an indication. As I type, 49 people (73%) have voted for one of the four options that are broadly in favour of having the footy available somewhere and 18 people (27%) have voted for one of the 2 options that are against.

So on the simple assumption that these 67 people are representative of the 170,000ish folk who will be there in June then its a clear result!! :P

:P:P And to apply an even less scientific approach (if that's possible) that is roughly about the 70/30 split I would have guessed at I reckon.

well on the current records that 70 ppl have taken the survey so far that is approx 1/2428th of the Glastonbury attendee's... enough to see that these 70 ppl represent the entire audience...

and asuming 73% of ppl want to see the football that's still 124,100 ppl....

...all numbers were correct when i posed this...

      I'm bemused why Jaissle hasn't been confirmed yet. If he and his coaches are already there, surely the paperwork to send this through must be somewhat sorted and confirmation imminent, no?   Feel like clubs are soft on tapping up now as an industry, right? I swear most deals seem to be a case that personal terms are agreed beforehand. In an older life, this Bruno deal has a potential case imo given the use of intermediaries to plant a seed in Bruno's mind this was a good idea (much I'm prepared to accept last season's mess would likely have had Bruno doubting if he wanted to stay regardless) but the industry seems more forgiving of this stuff at present. Wind seems to be picking up that a deal is about to happen regardless. Shame as I'd have been more willing to accept a move to Real Madrid but it is what it is.   Would be nice if we could show some more balls with this stuff tbf. Feel like the owners are taking a strange lesson from Isak last year in that now, we just have to let everyone go at the first sign of trouble, even though other clubs in a similar boat to us are seemingly more willing to turn back and tell pursuers to f**k off.

      I wouldn't. U2 would almost certainly be doing stadiums and Muse have been saying they have stadium shows booked. They're the likelier of the two to be doing BST Hyde Park, but my expectations would be to expect them turning up at a stadium.

      Exactly. One rumour doing the rounds was that they were playing 2 stadium shows in Greece next summer and that I would assume it'll be part of the same tour to do a London stadium gig.
