Ok this is looking quite good. I can get a flight from prestwick to belgrade on the 7th and return 14th for about £100.

How long does it take to get to Novi Sad? How much will it be roughly and how much is the ticket normally? If this comes in at under £400 for the lot then my T in the Park plans are well ditched. All depending on getting a job and persuading someone to go with me.

I'm almost sold already, i'd pay 60 euro for crystal castles alone! one of my fave acts ever...they always pull in great headliners so it's just the start. it's just a quetion to buy now when on special or later on!? it also means ill have 3 weekends in a row of festivals! haha would it be hard to get there from belgrade?

It's time to open the line-up wish list with two confirmed acts. So, first bands that will surely be guests of Exit festival 2010, are.. Does it offend you, yeah! and Crystal Castles!

World Cup at Exit

The finals and the third place match of the most important side issue in the world, as you probably already know, is overlapping with the third and the fourth day of one of the best festivals in Europe. Also, by the time the semi finals are played, many of you will already have arriver to Exit Village (you know that space with tents and other interesting details, surely you remember? :-))

The news is that you will not have to choose between music and sport, because you will be able to see all four games right at the festival: semi-finals on the 6th and 7th July, third place match on the 10th July, and the finals on the 11th July. All four games will be played at 7.30 p.m.

So, the plan for your Exit Saturday and Sunday is: The Danube, summer, beer, football, party, music... Why are we saying this when you already know it?

hhaha sorry! i'm going to Glastonbury and then Main Square Festival. I heard you can get the bus to belgrade from france?

You didn't say what are the other two festivals you are going to attend, but with a reasonable amount of planning it should be an easy task. Belgrade is already well connected with most of the capitals in West Europe and situation will get only better after visa liberalisation and Serbia becoming an interesting location for low-cost companies.

i got my ticket for exit.. ive heard so much about it from ppl... planning on going over on my own.

i dunno what to do to get there .. i can fly with ba to belgrade on the day so i save on a nights hostel fee which costs £100 one way. or fly to budapest a day earlier for £50 take the 6 hour bus/coach journey for 30 euros and then play an extra night stay.

maybe it works out better with flying on the day i dunno. anyway as i'm going on my own does anyone wanna meet up? or where you planning on staying..

also the train in serbia is really crap we took the train from novi sad to belgrade and it was more like over 2 hours and plus we were packed in like sardines cos it was the belgrade beerfest. also ppl smoke on the trains, i can imagine it being a lot worse especially if its exit. i would advise getting the bus.. its slightly more expensive but you get a seat and for me it was quicker to get to novi sad than the train.

i mayyyy join you, ill have to wait for more of the lineup i think, camping is only 20 euro if youre after cheap accom, i hear you must book asap for accom near there. camping is a 10 day festival on the site. its a distraction from my travel itinery but it just looks amazing although it will cost alot all up for accom and travelling, im guessing 250 euro fro all that

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
