I'm sorry, but we're having a serious meteorological discussion using the tried and tested Formed A Band notation. You seem to be under the misguided impression that it's OK to post random pictures of pretty girls. Where's the science in that?

The Dutch pics are of the girls Robbie Earle gave tickets to for the games in South Africa. Then they used them for some sort of flash marketing campaign, and he got sacked.

Not sure what they're trying to sell, but I'm buying it.

Looks like they're trying to sell tits.

Erm, not too sure if you're being serious or not, but after looking at pages 106/7 it seemed the order of the day was posting up pictures of good looking Germans. Thought I'd include some Dutch lovelies in the interest of fairness. I apologize profusely and enjoy your A band notions.

Sorry, the background is that someone posted a link to a very good German weather site. This prompted pictures of Germans (men at the time). This led to LW commenting that during good forecasts we get happy and post pictures of Germans. This in turn led to Formed a Band suggesting that good weather should be signified with Germans while bad weather should be signified with French. If the outlook is mixed then you might get away with an average looking Swiss person although no-ones tried this yet, so you could get flamed.

The safest bet on here is to only predict good weather and add a picture of a German lovely.

And remember - All German, No Compromise

I left this thread at about half 9 last night with the usual peaceful talk of GFS and general nerdy stuff. I come back to it on my lunch now and I can only surmise that YOU'VE ALL GONE MAD!

However, by the look of the photos, I assume the forecasts are good.

In keeping with the theme, I hope the weather is hot and dry - so my skin turns (Eva) Braun.

All very exciting as the festival comes (Miroslav) Klose.

We want to be getting a fingering from the Azores. Some forecasts have got this, so too soon to say, but quite possible. :)

and will everyone STOP with Finnish, Dutch, Brazilian or any other nationality of girl that is not French or German.

Met Office:

UK Outlook for Monday 21 Jun 2010 to Wednesday 30 Jun 2010:

Most areas of the UK should remain largely dry throughout next week with some decent sunny periods at times. Northern and northwestern areas are likely to be cloudiest and are more likely to see occasional rain, although there will be plenty of dry and bright weather too. Although most other places will be mainly dry, isolated light showers may develop at times. Temperatures should be near normal throughout much of the period, and it should feel pleasantly warm in any prolonged periods of sunshine, but will feel cooler on the coasts. Indications are that there these mainly dry conditions will continue to the end of June, with temperatures remaining close to average for the time of year in most places.
