I think it will become incresingly more difficult to retain rockness's dance roots, given the lack of enduring quality dance acts.

Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers have kept their train going at full steam through the 00's though, to a lesser extent Faithless and Primal Scream also.

I suppose, but still they are from the 90's so I guess that's what they have to be classed as.

I think the problem we have these days is the varied styles. The Prodigy, Leftfield, Chemical Brothers, Orbital etc etc all came from the rave scene. We don't have one particular thing anymore, we have loads of little ones so it is difficult for an act to become that popular unless they do something totally new which nobody has done really.

True I don't see any recent dance acts that are worthy headliners. Justice one day perhaps, but other than that, I'm struggling.
