White Viilage Camping

This is the first year we're coming down on the Wednesday so I was just wondering what areas of the campsite are open and where's best to camp. I quite fance White but I'd imagine it fills pretty quickly. We'll arrive around 4pm (Wed) so where would be best to camp?

I went on wednesday last year getting there for about 2-3 o'clock, and there was plenty of space in white camp! good idea to save spaces if you're wanting friends to camp near you though, as it really gets cramped on thursday.

Nowhere gets full on Wednesday, unless you need space for an awful lot of tents you'll be fine anywhere, the second the gates open on Thursday tho, White will be full!

Oh, and White's by far the best campsite, you've made a good choice!

I love it when Ive settled in on the wednesday and everyone else is having to lug bags/crates everywhere and set up their tents the next morning - pretty horrible I am ..

We got there last year on the Thursday @ about 11:00am we still found a space big enough for a six man and 2 four men tents and a Gazeebo for us to sit under, which was understandably needed last year with all the rain.

I don't like it however when people save placesfor others to come and camp. Its my view that if you get there first its your space, Im not bothered about people taking others tents with them because they can't make it early and putting them up for them, but when theres a massive space there to me its first come first serve.

We done this last year used a space that was being kept for others, in the end though the people who were saving the space's friends came, and with a little bit of geometry and moving around we still managed to get there m8s tents in aswell, so all wasnt lost for them.

After all its not that bad walking a few hundred meters if your wanting to sit with friends.

Cheers guys, Looking forward to camping in White for the first time hopefully, normalkly don't arrive early enough and have to camp in Orange, not too pretty at times and the noise from the fairground rides drives you insane after a while.
