There are 30+ people in our group - could be quite a challenge to get a decent camping spot all of us together but we've hired our own coach and plan on leaving very early Friday morning to be there when it opens! should be a giggle!!

I'm not sure of exact numbers as I've been in Germany for the last yr and don't return until the 18th of August especially for V, last yr there was about 6 tents of us and about 15 but its grown this year.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking on the plus side of 20-25, most of us close friends plus a few friends of friends but we all get along

Well, I'm going on my own, as I split up with the boyfriend a while ago... since then though, a friend has kind of invited himself along... so I'm desperately tryin to find someone else to come too as I dont think I could manage a whole weekend of him.

His heart's in the right place bless him, but he is VERY straight laced and a bit of a snob (not his fault, he just grew up in a wealthy family), so he's ok in small doses, but 3 days and I would be tearing my hair out....lol.

Godmutha this is the best way to not see someone at a festival - arrange to meet them next to the bloke with the Welsh flag - you will never see them until the end of the night.

Anyway he could come in handy as a drinks gadgie, running off to queue and giving you a break. Sounds harsh but if you need a break then there's your answer.

Yeah... got a feelin he'll be a bit of a leech though... I dont think he's ever been to a festival before. I'm tryin to get him to take one of his mates too, so I can sneak off without feeling guilty. lol.

Worst comes to the worst and he's doing your nut drop him on me for half hour, disappear to 'the toilet' and then I'll have to meet some people - then its his choice if he tries to find you or has to walk round with me and my mates.

On me bill.

Kinda prefer it cos I get to see the bands I want without making compromises for anyone else

although i am slightly worried my tent will dissapear if its only mine amongst a group.

    • Skylink is 24 hours... But the skylink will drop you off at Pegasus business Park or EMA (East Midlands Airport) where you'll have to use the Download shuttle link, which isn't 24 hours. The last shuttle from the Download transport hub to EMA is 12:15 TrentBarton / Local bus info here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/download2026   Skylink Derby / Leicester / Loughborough timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/services/skylinkderby  Shuttle timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/userfiles/hotel.pdf If you miss the shuttle, which is very doubtful, you'll just have to find another way to EMA / Pegasus business park, maybe a taxi. You could even walk to EMA from the Download transport hub, wouldn't take too long. Just make sure you use the airport's 'circular path' instead of the dangerous roads.  I walk the circular path often, it's nice and easy. I would post instructions but I very much doubt you'll miss the shuttle, and if you do, it isn't hard to work out. The footpath is clearly signposted from directly opposite / across the road from where the download map has labelled "Pickup and Drop Off Exit."
    • So for Harry Styles it was actually a plastic bag that basically blocks the view of the front and back cameras. You can still use the phone screen. It's much easier than using lockers, especially for people leaving for the last train etc    I think it's basically reliant on the threat of security kicking you out if you start filming.
    • Hey, does anybody have a joining link for the WhatsApp group plz? I know the secret sets get posted there but have a new phone and number
