Traffic on site

Not the most exciting of topics, I grant you, but it usually ends up here at some point after a festival and a quick search suggests that it hasn't so far this year.

Basically well done to the organisers - obviously it was helped by the weather but it didn't feel like I was constantly having to shift to let some Land Rover or van through. All of the convoys I saw were usually accompanied by a steward, which seemed sensible.

It's traditional that everyone else will think differently from me i.e. they was lots more traffic than usual, but I for one think it was a job well done.

Do I detect sarcasm? I'm refering to the traffic on site during the festival i.e. inside the fence. I'm well aware the car parks weren't great.

west 29 is THE perfect car park! easiest hauling of the gear i ever had and getting out was easy. getting in - another story that i'll be able to discuss in a year when the mental scars have healed.

edit: back on topic, i noticed a lot less faffing about with traffic within the site this year and the stewards were great.

A shout out should also go to the poor sods who have to steward the road that runs into the back stage compound. Getting people to stop can't be easy and it must be annoying to have loads of people ignore you. Well done for keeping your patience.
