Toilets

It is possible to have better toilets but they cost both in materials & labour. The turdis's could be better designed and many were better than others, the foot pedal flushed are much better than the hand lever variant.

I suspect though that with so many people drinking to excess and poor diet for the festival then whatever toilets are there will take a pasting!

I still don't understand though why some people take great delight from trashing/destroying the toilet facilities!

They seemed much better than normal this year - better than in 90's when people on the rampage turned them over with people in them - nice - not!

regarding the overall appearance of the toilets, i thought they were a lot cleaner and less smellier than last year. Mind u, that could be cos this was our 3rd year and may have just gotten used to it all. Anyhoo, they were cleaner, in my opinion. My one gripe was some of the toilets for disabled had had their padlocks broken, ok,i know u get to the desperate stage occasionally. How's about some respect for those that are actually DISABLED?? We get desperated too and it aint as easy for us! Husband, daughter and i were at god knows where, sorry cant remember, when we noticed the queue at a disabled toilet. Not one person had a tag on their wrist for access to it soooo, what did i do? :D I walked right to the front of the queue, and waited, no one spoke or made any comments (i woulda dared em too lol). i DID have a shooting stick wi me so i guess it was kinda obvious huh. :D

Apart from that, all hail to the toilet cleaners, its a messy job considerin the amount of users, i bow to you folk for work well done. A long happy healthy life to you all.

I think the toilets were actually good this year, not sure if I lost my sense of smell this year but the smell didnt really hit me and i found quite a few where toilet paper rolls had been left for use.

In all the years I've been going, I can't remember a single bad one, although I have only ever used longdrops TBH. I've never queued yet at any time or place. Only once have I gone in one and found someone had left a bit of a 'surprise' on the seat area so backed out fairly smartish and went next door ! I did find one without it's locking hook this year and again went next door but only cos it's actually d@mn useful for hanging your stuff on while you do your business rather than simply a means of keeping the door closed. They never used to have locks ! Mucho thanks to the guys who keep them clean and stuff, it can't be in any way pleasant but top job chaps and I'm always impressed <_<

The toilets have got consistently better over the 14 years I've been going, and the decision a few years ago to get loads more long drops in the camping fields was genius. You can't beat having a dump with warm rain falling on your back, hearing the thumping of music in the background. I only found one bad one and one without a lock all weekend. Credit to the cleaners and shit suckers too, great job you do! I hate turdis's with a passion, they are minging. I always take my own loo roll and hand sanitizer though.

Special mention for the shepees by the Pyramid - lovely loos indeed! Nice job girls! <_<
