Q-Tip

Still not quite sure what to expect. An hour and a half is a fairly long slot for somebody with just 2 short albums so I guess he'll probably play most of both albums and a couple of TCQ songs.

Other than that I don't know what to expect. Does he do any covers? Does he have a large band? Guest singers?

Who knows?

Done a bit of digging and found this review from when he played the roundhouse earlier this year, pretty good by all accounts

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/mar/1...e-london-review

He had a 6 piece band so i guess we can expect the same at glastonbury also confirms he plays a few tribe call quest hits as it mentions Award tour, Bonita Applebum & Scenario no mention of Can i kick it tho' but you never know.

Was in two minds of who i'm going to see friday as i really like Neil Young & Bloc Party but i've seen them both recently so i think i might go for Q-Tip, the fact that the Jazz World field has the best bar & sound of the whole festival makes the choice a little easier

I've been struggling with the Q-Tip/Doves scenario on Friday (Doves being one of my favourite bands) but I'm leaning towards Q-Tip at the minute, because he doesn't tour much and partly because I don't know if Doves show could top their Other Stage headlining slot in 2003. I found this quite a useful review....

If you do a Google search for 'q-tip live review' it brings back a fair few, they all seem pretty positive
