The excitment is killing me!!! 3 sleeps!

Anyway, could you tell me what kind of food you can buy both in the arena and campsite area?? I can't decide whether to bring food. The last T i went to i spent 3 days eating chips as everything else was el ranko.. any advice would be greatfully recieved.

Till then......

I've never had food in the campsite, I'd imagine it would be your usual Burger van stuff so I always bring stuff for breakfast.

In the main arena there's quite a good variety of food, obviously you'll have your burger vans, some chinese etc...

but there's also an area selling local produce. I'd reccomend that, you'll get a very filling, reasonably healthy meal for not too bad a price (about £5-£6?)

Barbreck Farms – serving haggis, mince n tatties and roast beef/roast lamb rolls

Highland Hotroasts – traditional split roast rolls, venison burgers and generally all things meaty!

Kingscross Herbs – serving vegetarian dishes and organic beefburgers

Seriously Good cheese toasties – all things cheesey!

Strawberry grange – strawberries and ice cream/cream and hot puddings

The Laughing Stock – all things seafood using fish from Kingdom Seafresh

The maccaroni cheese and the FREE chocolate fudge cake I had in the arena last year was amazing.

Then I had a 'burger' from one of the burger vans, but it was a ball of slime and grease.

I'd stick to the local stalls as rexclark has listed above.

Essentials! :)

I wouldn't reccomend anyone bringing cooked chicken, we did last year and by Saturday morning our tent smelt like sweaty chicken. Not very nice at all.

I think i'll be taking some small tubs of creamed rice for breakfast each day, perhaps some tinned fruit.

Also probably some crisps and biscuits.

EDIT. I forgot the most important item of all, Haribo! :)

    • I mean Two Door Cinema Club from that era have sold out Crystal Palace Bowl and played the O2 before. So there are indeed precedents.   I guess it depends how far the 2000s/2010s indie hierarchy we go before we truly find one that ends up getting blue dot fever.
