Food to take

Brioche rolls will keep.

Peperami's too

Biltiong was intended for just this sort of thing.

Some fuits will be ok, but need care due to brusing and spoiling.

If your taking a small gas stove, anything that needs hot water becomes available.

Couscous,

Packets of Microwave rice (add half a cup of water)

Pasta (including the dreaded pot noodles)

Cuppasoups,

Smash.

I'm packing cuppa soups, smash (as emergancy food) but my stove (a small meths burner) is really just for hot water for cuppas (with dunkies) and washes.

I usually bring a pack or two of pringles and some sweets. I buy most of my food there though.

A friend of mine buys packs of chilli that you just pop into hot water in the plastic to warm up. Nice and simple if you want to cook.

Will be bringing enough for brekkie Thurs, Fri & Sat (bacon, sausages & eggs).

Snacks for nighttime munchies will include peanuts, chilli heatwave doritos , nik-naks, pringles, brownies & muffins

'Emergency' cold weather supplies will include cuppa soup, supa-noodles, savoury rice and Batchelors Pasta 'n' sauce.

I've done this camping thing before...... :D

we normally take a stove & make a cooked breakfast in a morning.

the only other food item we take & we always seem to run out of no matter how many we take are crumpits. perfect for that late night snack & heating up on the camp fire!

Malt loaf. And some malt loaf. And some more malt loaf. They're quite often for sale 2 or 3 for a bargain price. Excellent for breakfast, and for post-lunch pudding, and for a sugar fix if you've forgotten to eat and feel a bit weak, and for midnight feasts. It's gooey enough that you can just pull chunks of it off (no need for a knife) and it doesn't need butter or anything on it. And it's sort of healthy cos it has fruit and malt in it.

AND, you can get all squashed up in your bag and still tastes yummy.

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
