Hi, Welcome

The free daily paper from Q usually lists most secret gigs. It's available all round site from the info points - or just keep your eye on the floor and you can find an abandoned one!!

There is also a mobile phone service set up that will give you updates GlastoNav- i've not tried, but sounds like some people had trouble with it last year /index.php?showtopic=122754&hl=orange">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...4&hl=orange

Cheers

I had the O glastonav thingy last year and worked quite well. I heard about the LS Puppets being on at The Park and dragged about 6 mates up there with me and after 30 mins of no show we cleared off. Only to find that they appeared 10 mins after we had gone!

I think I will get this again this year as there seems to be more special guest slots. And mebbe I will take a bit more notice of it this year.

Battery wise I didn't find it too bad as long as you dont use the map that comes with it. I seem to remember that it has a satnav style map of the site and you can send messages to mates and it flashes on the map where you/they are. Sommat like that anyway.

I couldn't be bothered with it most of the time if I am being honest, quite a few txts about random rubbish.

Last year both F Ferdinand & LSPuppets were confirmed in the free daily Q newspaper, available from information points. They get snapped up quickly, so find out who is the earliest riser in your group and send them off - on the promise of a pint later.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
