Wellies!

Hi, I'm sick of getting wellies that have a hole in them after approx 2-3 hours. Any good ones on sale in Topshop or do you know of any good sites that sell em? and a colourful pair too if possible! I looked at www.welly4u.ie but they didn't have a great selection!

Dont need to spend that much. Theres plenty out there i got mine from a local farm type shop last year.

i've heard hunters are not that good quality anymore anyway, so doesn't seem worth the price.

I disagree, I've had a pair of the Hunters Greens for the last 6 years and they're still going strong.

my boss gave me his old biker wellies (now he doesnt own a bike) they are so comfy, and look no different from normal wellies just black so i wont look like a right pillock

I admire your optimism! But I think wellies are always necessary, even if you gotta wear them with shorts! imagine flip flops near the loos...urgh!

I think there are some good ones at Millets but they're a little expensive. I just bought a pair of cheapish grey wellies and am going to draw on them in permanent marker, works just as well.

Cant you just gaffer tape some bin bags to your legs and paint them bright colours.....? I'm sure they'll look just as fashionable as normal wellies. not that any one give a crap about fashion when you need wellies anyway.....

Good waterproof hiking boots + gaiters for me - saves my feet. Plus I can ditch the gaiters if they're not needed...

i bought mine from Clarks about 6 years ago and they've done me well at many a fest. Can't go wrong with Clarks!

I got some from a camping shop in Manchester on the day I left for Glasto last year and they were good, they're at my parents house now but I think they were dunlop.

My brother whos coming this year wants some funkeh wellies but I think he'll struggle, my suggestion was get some permenant markers and just write all over them!

in a wet year the only way to garantee dry feet is with wellies after a period of time leather boots will let water in. You hopefully will not need them but bring them as one year you will.

try and go to large independent builders yards, i found some the day before i went a couple of years ago with steel toes and they were fantastic in large crowds
