r0cky
The whole point of the photograph on the tickets is to stop people having to bring ID (as ME and GFL said at the time of it's introduction). It's an anti-tout measure, that is all. I guess Oxfam stewards might ask for ID (they should not), that does not mean it's required, nor that you have to show it. Look at the ticket FAQ for example. What ID do I need to get into the Festival? You do not need ID to enter the Festival. All tickets will be personalised, with the full colour facial image you submit when you register. Every ticket holder will be required to present their personalised ticket. Checks will be made at the gates. If you are not the person whose face is printed on the ticket you will be denied entry. Children aged 12 and under, and child ticket holders, must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Edited June 3, 2009 by r0cky
