Cinema field

Was looking at this years map the other night and noticed that the cinema field is no longer up by the John Peel, has moved down to near the Cabaret i believe.

Hoping they still have the outdoor drive in style screen this year as it was a wicked place to go and chill for abit at night, watched 'Control' with a few cans of strongbow and a cheeky cigarette last year and did me the world of good after a mad day.

Will be interesting to see what films there putting on this year, any predictions?

No, tickets this year are £175 but you get free entry to the Pyramid Stage Arena.

Wrong ! Its on the map that came with my tickets The Cinema has relocated to the bootm of the Acoustic Stage Field

Great for me as its now on the right side of the Festival on the way home at night !

In 8 years, never have I mad eit to the cinema field, guess it moving won't make much difference to me

I heard a rumor that its incorporated in the new Williams green thing. Plenty of screens down there...

source was a sixform media tutor who has been asked to get involved. Not really a friend but a friend of a friend. I thought it made sense that's why I thought it relevant.

i used to camp in woodsies near the cinema and it was good to go there to unwind before bed, does anyone know if that field it was in is now more camping area?

On the map I have seen there is a cinma in both the accustic and comedy fields. Perhaps a choice of viewing?

That is so annoying! Going to one of those outdoor cinemas has always been on my list of things to do before I die, as was Glasto so I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone this year. Boo hoo indeedy

Outdoor screen was great till the sun came up, then you could see nothing!!!

The outside cinema is no more?! I'm gutted! Watched a few films up there last year.

Will miss the outdoor cinema. Last year saw the first British showing of Wall-E - it was fantastic. It did get cold, but a good excuse to cuddle up!

I thought the screens by Williams Green were for highlights rather than films.
