The latest announcement

some changes to the organisation of the poster have happened which may be quite interesting..

Before, NIN were on Metallica's side, leaving a big gap on Linkin Park's side, which left us to assume that the sub-headliner announced would be on the Linkin Park day. With the addition of Heaven & Hell, NIN are now on the Linkin Park side, while H&H are on the Metallica side.

As far as musical continuity is concerned, it makes more sense for H&H to be under Metallica and NIN to be under Linkin Park, and I'd assume that this is the plan.

Another thing which I find a bit strange is how there is big space next to the H&H and NIN logos, and the logos also seem quite small. I may be reading into things too much, but perhaps there are still a couple of big names to be announced?

Also, the Bohemia tent seemed to have headliners before - Corey Taylor and (if I remember right) Dirty Little Rabbits. Now they've just joined the collection of names.

Thoughts? Speculations?

I've been overly critical of Soni in recent weeks, for a simple reason. They've shot themselves in a foot with a few things. We had the big delay, followed by a big announcement that never was, the way they've treated the early buyers with recent offers, speaking to Total Bull Shit and not shooting them, and signing Feeder but then hyping up their mellowest album, and initially one of the mellowest songs from that mellow album.

Only one of those faux pas was absolutely necessary (the offers), but they all annoyed people in spite of not actually doing a lot wrong. And I believe the other, little, needless things made the big hit that much more impactful.

Rant over.

This was a fantastic announcement, and in the wake of the free travel/guitar hero episode, well timed. Heaven and Hell I'm happy with, and assuming NIN do play the Linkin Park day, there's that much more reason for people to consider doing both days. A few weeks ago it looked like all the huge exclusives were going to play the Metallica day, and that while LP are massive, not many people were going to pay north of £150 to see them. I really want to know whether Bohemia clashes with the main stages or not, there's quite a lot that I

I'm pretty sure the gap is just due to layout. In fairness there's not really a lot they can do about it. LP and Metallica's logos just happen to be wider than NIN's and H&H's, and they can't make the headliner's logos smaller than the sub headliners. Besides, there are two stages, and two headliners, so surely it follows that there are two sub headliners?

Anyone know whether or not Bohemia clashes with the main stages? I guess to an extent I don't mind either way, mainly want to know as it'll help me decide how early to get there (and I guess in turn, how much money they'll potentially make out of me- I always try to be fair but I'm ever the cynic :P)

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
