If you guys want to camp in green go for your life the camp I'm organising will be in orange and as say we will save what we can and if people can't fit in what can you do?!!

I personally am not camping miles away in green or gold but I'm not stopping anyone organising their own camp in another campsite but I'll only be organising the one efest camp in orange as I don't want the organising taking over my life and enjoyment of festival which multiple sites will as it was really difficult getting you all together last year..... so sorry if sound awkard but I don't want this getting too complicted

I'm with u in Orange there Laura. I shall be there early anyway, so I can defo assist with space saving!

Having just spent Download weekend walking 2 fricking miles to the arena from the campsite, I have promised my best mate that V offers the arena-on-the-doorstep experience.

Ain't no way in hell I am camping any further away than Orange.

It's a hard slog isn't it at Download, we used to go very early on the Wednesday morning but getting everything from the cars to near the Arena was a treck and half, my brother and everyone could see the stage from their caravans at this year's but they still had to walk around the outside to get in and were miles away from the village.

    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
    • We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.
    • The Bródy Day was his idea because Sziget has always been late when it comes to this kind of concert. They would only organize farewell performances or tribute shows after an artist had passed away. Since Bródy is one of the country's greatest singer-songwriters, they wanted to honor him while he is still alive. (He didn't say it exactly like that, but the man is 80 and has just stopped playing large concerts.) He never understood why anyone would focus exclusively on one generation, especially Gen Z, who have less disposable income, drink less, and are, in his words, "afraid of partying." He explained that in the past, people loved festivals because of the nonstop partying, whereas many younger people today find that experience overwhelming or exhausting. That's one of the reasons why Sziget will introduce more chill zones and sensory-friendly spaces. They also want to attract older generations, who are generally more willing and able to spend money. The Sziget Icons days are aimed at this audience, and in the future they hope to create a more balanced lineup that appeals to people over 35 as well.   It was a long interview. If anything else comes to mind, I'll share it.
