my how things have changed

hi everyone, i'm going to the festival for the first time since 1994. i am now a 44 year old who is eager to see how things have changed in all these years. if there are any of you who were there back in the late eighties and early nineties perhaps you can give me a few tips. ta x x

Expect a lot of changes and the size is somewhat bigger. And there's a Dance Village now obviously (I think first Dance Tent was in 95). And tbh a lot of the market stalls have not moved in over 15 years! And most importantly, it's still Glasto, its still awesome and amazing. Oh...the weather isnt as good these days!

I was there 93, 94 & 95, then had a break till 2007. It's still recogniseable but the big difference is the size, it's much much bigger and it's all a bit more organised. Much less alternative, there's not the restless, reckless, anarchic vibe, much more mainstream, but still cool.

you won't see any thieving, drugs or eavis, dont know where they store all that milk for the week,

but i bet there are more cows, lets hope he's sorted out the drainage in the lower field, ted was on the job !!
