Hi peeps

im new to this forum but have been a regular viewer of post etc.

I saw this guy at the one bigweekend in swindon, and seriously got the crowd going. Its the first time i have seen him and is some thing else, one of the best sets ive seen in ages.

Ive had a look at his tour dates and its showing that hes doing nothing in June!

I really hope he plays at glasto, will make my week :-).

has anyone else seen him and heard his material, and do you reckon there's any possibility him playing this year in the dance tents ?

cheers

I saw him for the first time yesterday as well! First thing I did was check on here to see if there were any rumours about him for Glasto. Was made up to see him down as TBC. Will defo check him out, he better be wearing the glitter mouse head he had on yesterday though! :(

I saw him Birmingham last week was an awsome show what i remember of it as i was quite drunk, but he does get the crowd jumping, if the only deadmau5 track you have heard is "i remember" which is being played on radio at the moment then listen to any of his other songs as there a millions times better, that song is his weakest track by far.

can't wait to see him, not had chance as yet

The set was pretty awesome at the Big Weekend, though the sound seemed to keep fluctuating during the first half on TV

Do you not think I remember sounds very much like an Above & beyond / Oceanlab track

Within 2 hours of touching down from electro obsessed (:P) Oz my sis was playing me Deadmau5...not bad, not quite hard enough for my own liking but the novelty mau5 head is pretty cool (altho my devotion will always go first to the original Men In Masks).

This 1 Big Weekend is a DJ set yes? Liking the DP Muse thang!

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
