I disagree about the LP thing, LP are one of the biggest selling bands of the 21st century, so there isnt a lot of bands who are bigger - and even those with similar sales may not be as relevent today so would be more suited to sub headlining.

I dont doubt that they are one of the biggest 'Selling' bands in the word today. But fact is they are not even nearly one of the best bands in the world today. There are hundreds of bands that exert much more musical talent than linkin park. I just think yeah ok the could have been at the festival. But i think Sonisphere jumped the gun a bit in making them headliners, all i can say is thank f**k they are the saturday and not the sunday. Can you imagine LP closing sonisphere.
