Ticket distribution

In my increasing impatience for the 24th June, I fancied looking at my ticket to perhaps calm my excitement and allow me to do some revision.

Does anyone know about when the tickets will be sent out???

Would like to add though that when I called up to get a car parking pass, I discovered that not all tickets in one order will neccesarily be distributed in one hit this year. Basically, because you could pay in installments, it means that if you did, each ticket will be sent to the house of the person who paid the remaining balance of it. So e.g. I originally paid a deposit for 6 tickets, but because each of our 6 paid the remaining balance themselves, we will each get sent our separate ticket. Or so the nice guy at See Tickets told me.

Thought it was worth mentioning as usually each order gets delivered together.

I know! It's concerning when you think of how difficult they seem to have found it over the past few years to get each order out to the correct person, with the correct name on the ticket on time. Now they potentially have to get each individual ticket out to each individual person who paid.

To top it off, the nice guy on the phone also said that our car parking passes would be mailed on their own! So when I put down the deposits, I put down 6. Then I bought two car park tickets. Now I have 8 envelopes to wait to come through the post, instead of the usual 1!

the other glory in this policy of SEE's is if you each paid the outstanding balance separately, you were each charged a postage fee.

as a penny pinching bunch, we all pooled our resources and paid the tickets off from 1 account. only a few quid saved, but enough for a couple of ciders. and better than in those robbing gits' pockets.

please dont' start thinking about tickets yet. 2007 my tickets arrived on the monday, with the festival starting on the wednesday. uncomfortably close timing.

Good points made above - people who have car park / campervan passes shouldn't necessarily expect them to arrive with the tickets... SEE must have made an absolute fortune on all those separate postage payments this year...

Come on guys, where's your sense of adventure? How boring life would be if the tickets arrived a week or more before the festival.. Nothing like having them turn up mere hours beforehand to get the nervous excitement going!

my worry is the need for a signature when the tickets get delivered

i'm oot at work all day, and i remember in years gone by, when i used to live at home, my mum or dad would be in usually to collect the tickets

now i dont know what the f**k will happen

edit: just checked the see tickets tracker. said tickets will be sent from 07/06/09 with the last ones being sent 21/06/09

might be hairy!

edit No.2: a lack of anything decent on the tele meant i just gave see a wee phone there. the lassie at See said she'd heard some tickets were being sent out in May, but who knows
