Help - Gates/Entrances

I was just looking at the map of the site on the rockness website. There are different gates for drop off's, car parks etc. I was just wondering, is there only one entrance to the campsite? Last year we had a car and so entered the campsite by the car park. This year we're hoping to hire a bus to drop us off & pick us up. Is there a different entrance at the drop off point or would you have to drag all your stuff round to the campsite entrance by the car park?

Probably camp in purple this year then! Camped in yellow last year cos we had managed 2 get past red with all our stuff but couldnt be bothered any further so just camped at the start of yellow! Ended up being a good spot tho! Close but not 2 close 2 the toilets and close to a couple of food stalls!

lol funny thing is I may end up in the yellow campsite this year :) think it's only me and my sister are going so will probably be camping with the efestivals crew this year! I'm sure(correct me if I'm wrong anyone)but I think it was in yellow last year and presume it will be this year. I'll mourn the loss of my beloved purple lol :)

    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
