RATM Vs Babyshambles

I regret seeing Babyshambles over Rage. Not a massive amount but in hindsight I should've stuck with them.

Cribs over Metallica I don't regret in the slightest, when they got cut off for the last song and everyone just sang the whole thing, amazing moment :(

I saw Metallica over The Cribs. One of the most influential bands of all time putting on an amazing show and with great crowd interaction and a set full of classics over a boring, "fookin' Norvern" NME band who try to be "punk" and the ony thing credible about them is that they've somehow managed to bring Sir Johnny Marr into the fold.

I thought it was good how the tent was pretty dead for the Manics. Smaller crowd = less chance of idiots = more chance of being with people who appreciate great music. I learnt that little formula from the Pumpkins the year before, when all the scene twats went off to..."rave"...to the Klaxons. :(

Leeds,

I watched tallica and rage from the headliners, rage was jam packed! I was about 6-10 people back from the front. The circle pits were amazing, a bit crazy at times, espesh when they stop mid song and told everyone to take a step back due to people at the front getting crushed.

Went to see the manics instead of the killers as everything except the killers first album stuff bores me to death! Tent was pretty empty.

The most jammed I saw the tent at leeds was for pendulum when they were pitted against feeder, and what a performance!! A circle pit started that was the diameter of the four main posts holdinh up the tent just in front of the stage and before the barrier it was mental. I'd seen them twice before this at the o2 academy in newcastle and this performance was much better, maybe due to the amount of people there to watch. Quality!

No brainer for me, Rage all the way.

This year it will be Radiohead, but I am not a big Lost Prophets fan.
