beer tokens or cash

I've not been to reading for a few years. You used to have to exchange cash for beer tokens before going to the bar. Is this still the case or can you buy straight from the bar?

I always used to lose the beer tokens, little fiddly pieces of paper, i'm sure it was a way of making more money! Hoping no more beer tokens!

i've only ever managed to sneak in 2 cans before, can't see how you can get more than 2 cans in. and 2 cans over several hours are not enough for me!

and i'm not prepared to walk back to the camp if it means a half hour round trip just to get more.
