ok, basically i thought i wouldnt be able to make Glasto this year so i reluctantly had my ticket refunded :P

have since found out i can go :D and i am planning trying on the 5th, thing is i don't know if my registration will still be valid.

they might have me marked as a defector or something and i'm worried if i am lucky enough to get through to booking, it will say no

:D

anyone know anything?

have you tried ringing them to see if you can just undo the refund and send them the money again?

since you already had one you shouldn't have to go through the free-for-all of 5th april.

there were a few people on here who forgot to pay their balance by the deadline and they just rang up, explained the situation and they let them have a ticket. yours is a similar situation, in fact i'd say you've got a better case.

To be fair, I'd say that someone who for whatever reason cancelled their tickets and got a refund had a worse case than someone who simply forgot the due date for the balance of their payment. But each to their own.

best of luck to the OP in the ticket resale though! :lol:

Me and my boyfriend are in the same position, and we really can't afford it still but have settled with the frame of mind that we'd rather be skinter and still go to Glastonbury. We had no choice but to cancel the tickets in February.

Can someone confirm if we can use the same registration or if we need to re-register? I'd die if we managed to get tickets and then our registration numbers had been cancelled!!

I'm thinking we should just re-register anyway to be on the safe-side, i'm under the impression that this needs to be done by Tuesday at the latest, could this mess things up by registering the same details again?

I feel sick.

I just phoned them and they checked both of our registration numbers and they are still showing as active.

I've phoned twice just to be sure!

      sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.

      Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.

      I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…

      Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
