May

Mon 25th - Barrowlands, Glasgow

Tue 26th - Venue Cymru Arena, Llandudno

Thu 28th - Camden Roundhouse, London

Fri 29th - Camden Roundhouse, London

Sat 30th - Camden Roundhouse, London

June

Mon 1st - Civic Hall, Wolverhampton

Tue 2nd - Dome, Brighton

Thu 4th - Olympia, Dublin

Can't say I'm a big fan nowadays but I would say the above dates mean they must be in with a chance of a Glastonbury slot?

I would absolutely die if I got the chance to see them live, but I'm just curious one something...What is their status regarding Glastonbury after Nicky's comments in 1994. I know he has apologized and said it was a joke, but do people still hold a grudge against them that would hamper their booking?

I would love to see them agian! Me and my boyfriend can't make the tour as they aren't playing close enough to where we live so we are hoping that they will be at Glasto!

Would quite like to see them. Only other chance I had before was at Rockness when they were up against Daft Punk, there was no choice really lol Daft Punk are one of my all time favourite live performances I have seen.

So yes, would be good to see Manics as I never got the chance.

Absolutely love The Manics. Remember in 1994 having to run from the Pyramid where Rage Against The Machine were on to catch them and then having to run back to Pyramid for Levellers.

Must be a pretty good Glasto bet. They did Reading/Leeds last year, so with a new album out I think it's odds on they will do Glasto this time.

I'm not a huge fan of the Manics, but I caught them in 2007 and thought they were fantastic. One of the highlights of the festival for me, particularly their performance of Motorcycle Emptiness. I'm usually sceptical of "past it" bands who haven't produced any decent material for a while, but they still have it when it comes to the live stage.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.

    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
