:P I've tried a few of these now and they're bloody lovely. Do you think there would be a good combination that goes well with warm cider and brandy?!?! I just know I'm gonna overdo it on that first night ;)

Haven't a clue how to add a link, but thought I'd bump for the guy talking about the Vodka stall...

There's loads of flavours you can make yourself. Have been testing them out over the last couple of months. My favourite so far being skittles vodka and at least you've got some control over the quality of the Vodka!

:P

After spending weeks in Nimbin and regularly visiting the Happy High Herbals shop I have brought back a bag of Blue Lotus flowers from Oz. The ladies tell me there that if I steep the flowers in a bottle of vodka, then strain the flowers out, I will now be in the ownership of what is essentially liquid valium! Perfect for the end of a night's hard partying at the Big G and very floaty dreams too!

What what what??? Well that's certainly not the the list...yet! When do you intend to be sampling some of this LusciousLucy? Before Glasto? If so, please report back - I'd be very interested in your findings!!!

It's as hard as hell to get proper-sized packets of Skittles over here....

As luck would have it, a couple of weeks ago, they appeared in the supermarket.

I bought them all.

I hope it gave somebody a moment of vagueness...

"Did you put the new Skittles on the shelves?"

"Yep.. I jus.... ummm... Well, they were here a minute ago, honest!"

Now I'm just trying to work out how much I can bring over without breaching my luggage weight threshold... :D

So with something like Refreshers Vodka do you just crush it up and then let it dissolve in vodka, or is there more of a knack to it?

Am planning on doing some last minute preparations this weekend!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
