April 5th Tickets

We are trying to get to Glastonbury.

We found about about Blur well after the tickets had sold out.

Is there any chance we are going to get tickets with the lottery (or whatever it is!)?

All feedback, optimistic or otherwise, is welcome.

I have many questions, but without tickets there isn't much sense asking them

Thank you!

Try both Phone and Online - but personally I'd put more effort into Online, as that's where the vast majority of tickets are sold.

The last few years there's not been any short cuts or secret links that give you any advantage. Just make sure you're registered, and have all the details to hand.

The only tip/trick I can suggest is don't press refresh because when the server is busy you get redirected away from the ticket page - instead it's better to set the ticket page as your browser homepage, and keep clicking Home instead.

Also,

if anyone has further advice at how to work the process (online vs. over the phone, etc.) that would be much appreciated.

It seems to be somewhat complicated?

Oh, it definitely helps. Thank you. I see that the website for the festival is a solid resource for info!!

Sometimes info can be ambiguous, so I thought i'd get on here and see what I could find out.

It seems like this festival is really unique though, not like others, in that the organizers really strive to give everyone the best experience possible.

I really hope we get to go!!

However many of you are going you should each try to get tickets using different ways (online and phone) and just buy all the tickets in one go, once your registration details have been put in and tickets booked, you can't buy again so there will be no way you will end up with more than one set. Does that make any sense?? ahaa

Thank you so much. The advice is invaluable!

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg. If we actually get tickets then we will have ten thousand more questions as to what to do with ourselves at that point...

Muchas Gracias!! :P

yes, all of the above. and have everybody's money in one account, and let everyone know the account details. then the first one to get to the buying page buy them all.

and be in contact through MSN messenger, etc. so everyone knows what's happening.

you need to plan this like d-day.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
