Does anyone know where they get their weather info? Is it going to be anymore reliable? If all they've done is look at the BBC website, I wouldn't be too worried by what they say. The Netweather people seem to be the best source and they haven't changed their tune (i.e. nice for first few days, then possibility of some showers over the weekend).

They all read the charts and retreated to their severe weather bunkers :P;)

Just a quick update based on the latest weather model runs (the 06hz GFS one for the weather nerds among you).... Seems that we may get something of a repeat of last year with the rainy patch this time being shifted to the Friday into Saturday. The good news though is that a) it's going to be very warm all weekend b ) it's presently forecast to clear up from Saturday mid-morning onwards. If all this IS the case then it could potentially get a bit sticky on the Friday evening and Saturday morning, but my feeling is that it will dry out even quicker than it did last year. I shall be taking sunscreen AND wellies, but you know what....

I think we're going to be mostly okay....

this was posted on anoyher forum earlier....... ;)

My favourite weather man, Joe Bastardi from Accuweather, is saying there will be a few showers on Thursday & Friday, as long as it's only showers we will all be fine.

Note, he's only my favourite because of his name, not because of his reliability!

Where do Worthy FM get their forecasts from? I don't think i can take any more ups and downs. And although some people are being accused of being pessimistic, that last bit of news sounds bad to me.

It is difficult to say what will happen, and I'm disappointed with the prospect of rain, showers or whatever - they are all still wet and not welcome.

Over the years I have tracked many weather sites (we know them all) and I read this thread for insight and thoughts on what will happen. Now the feeling is low since wet stuff is on the cards, but lets no panic - this site TWO WEATHER has a more optimistic outlook, and they have been 'almost' ;) accurate most years.

Come on now everyone... there is enough black clouds over people's heads in this thread to rain for the whole weekend!!! Let's get back the positive attitude people because the reality is.... there are hundreds of weather forecasts about and the vast majority say there will only be a small ammount of rain, and this new one says none!! Worst case scenario it'll be like last year, which was my first Glasto and wonderful, and not too rainy!! PMA PEOPLE, PMA!!

    • Yes, she can just do stadiums and she's probably one step behind when you could have anyway. How Reading works this year though both top two are headlining with Chase probably more a closer due to darkness after Florence. I don't see Wolf Alice in the part of a top 6. If they go back to pure headliner and subs then yes.

    • Wolf Alice are supporting O-Rod in America soon, right? So yeah, I think as a 1/2 that would work. But equally was there any talk of her doing more touring next year beyond her 10 nights at the O2 or whatever it is?   Certainly, I think WA might take a year off themselves in 2027.
    • They didn't. They pushed for Spain to be kicked out of it over this Cueta thing, although as is pointed out by Spanish experts, Cueta is not in Schengen.
