so like yeah um.... do we have a consensus on what the f**k the weather is actually going to be like? on the bbc page it says sunny all week, metcheck has rain most days, whats the general opinion

As far as i'm concerned i don't trust any weather forecast ever. The forecast for my area (north west) hasn't been even remotely close. In fact it's been exactly opposite. Weather forecasting is a complete waste of public and private money. The money would be better spent dealing with the effects of weather eg using the resources we are given rather than trying to predict what it may or may not be. The only time they get close is on the day forecasts and even then its sometimes wrong. You don't need to run computer models to determine the weather just look out of the f****** window.

As far as Glasto is concerned prepare for any eventuality and we'll have a goodun.

It does torrential, massive cloud burst and ‘rain of Biblical proportions’, but it doesn’t do ‘light showers’or drizzle.

i'm 10 miles from the site and it's just slashed it down for the last 30 minutes...stopped now and very steamy so i expect it to dry up pretty quick...just what we need to get the pegs in!

im leaving at one today. how will i cope not knowing what the weather may be like. i might postpone going to the site untill next monday when i know what the weather will have been like.
