I thought I would open a seperate thread for this :lol:

think it deserves one.

we moaned enough about prodigy, and got it :lol:

lets do the same for an edbanger tent!!! what uz think?

theres still a big gap with big expetations on the friday nite, it would fit in there amazingly!

if im honest the line up is looking quite bland with the exeption of the prodigy (only my opinon, dnt go nuts lol)

anyway... EDBANGER 09!!!!!!!

The big guys sitting at the table surely know by now that a vast majority of the Rockness loyals want Justice. Its posted on multiple sites aswell as this one - facebook and bebo have groups solely about getting them to play at nessy. If they could slot in worthy or decent alternatives like Richie Hawtin, Mstrkrft, Aphex Twin...infact scrap that no act is a worthy alternatiiiiiiiiiiiv at this current time! We really need Justice while they can still be arsed to tour!!! YE KEN! Flaming Lips confirmed though...swish!

All for the ED BANGER tent though!!! Lets get it fired up for 09!!!

Fair play to the Rockness organisers. They actully listen to what the fans want. This is a great addition and it shows the organisers care about the fans unlike other Scottish festivals. Really wish i could go to Rockness this year now. :sad:

We asked for clean Toilets, they gave us that and what a gr8 job to.

We asked for Prodigy, Ed Banger and they've givin us that as well, as well as pulling a rabbit outa the hat in gettin Flaming Lips an Placebo.

T in the Park shud take note seriously!

Soooo chuffed Ed Banger are comin!!! Gona have to bring the sweatbands that day, coz i aint leaving that sweaty tent! :P

thats rockness proved once again that its easily the best scottish (if not british) music festival!!!

am sooo excited!!!!

but... at the same time, that kind of confirmed that justice wont be playing? :/ ... i think... if they were announced I doubt they would play the bollywood tent lol :P

Cant wait now!!! soooo excited :) ... apparently mr oizo is sposed to be playin in it aswell (dont take my word for it tho... semi-reliable, semi-drunk source lol)

if rockness have ed banger under there belt... and there obv listening to the crowds wants... theyve probably (if not definately) asked ed banger to bring justice... whether they said yes is a different story haha

      Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.

      We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.

      The Bródy Day was his idea because Sziget has always been late when it comes to this kind of concert. They would only organize farewell performances or tribute shows after an artist had passed away. Since Bródy is one of the country's greatest singer-songwriters, they wanted to honor him while he is still alive. (He didn't say it exactly like that, but the man is 80 and has just stopped playing large concerts.) He never understood why anyone would focus exclusively on one generation, especially Gen Z, who have less disposable income, drink less, and are, in his words, "afraid of partying." He explained that in the past, people loved festivals because of the nonstop partying, whereas many younger people today find that experience overwhelming or exhausting. That's one of the reasons why Sziget will introduce more chill zones and sensory-friendly spaces. They also want to attract older generations, who are generally more willing and able to spend money. The Sziget Icons days are aimed at this audience, and in the future they hope to create a more balanced lineup that appeals to people over 35 as well.   It was a long interview. If anything else comes to mind, I'll share it.
