doobie ninja
Not to park in the same car park as last year!! (think it was west) We were right at the front of the car park....so that meant last out. I got to my car at 11:00am and got out of the car park at 3:30pm!! Also not going to bother buying an early bird entry pass. Edited September 3, 2008 by doobie ninja

bekimo
Do not leave everything to the last minute so that ( a ) I end up in Asda at 3.30am buying crap, thus leaving me absolutely knackered for the day ahead and forced to have an early night and ( b ) I do not use all of my phone battery sorting the troops out that have yet to leave. Do not take posh whinging twats who would have been much happier in a campsite far far away ( or I would have been anyway )! They drank all our beer and smoked all our weed, stole our chairs and tomato ketchup, used our piss pot, and then had the absolute audacity to COMPLAIN about our noise levels when they were trying to sleep! f**kos. I would still go on the Thursday, but I would only take tents for me and people who I knew would appreciate it and not afore mentioned posh whinging twats. I would take less stuff as OMG we left so much CRAP there!! I would try and watch more bands as didn't see much at all! Too much fun to be had playing in the mud! indie-rocknroll
Yeah I also forgot to mention, my new year's resolution is not to be a social drug user and therefore this year's V will be my first experience at a festival drug free from being the age of 9 (slight exageration), I think it may be my first straight headed festival. Yaaaay

Chapcharlie
Did think about an extra one, but the 2 litre bottle of Midori/Grenadine/Vodka shooters was a decent alternative - and makes it look like you're vomiting blood when you puke! (or maybe I was??? )
xxtinkerbellxx
1) Not get so drunk on the first night and be incapacitated for the rest of the weekend. 2) Not drink a litre of straight vodka again, throwing up in the portaloos isnt a nice experience! 3) Take food with me so i dont have to pay £50 for a bacon sandwich lol 4) Not buy the band times from the carpark again! indie-rocknroll
Aha!!! This is why forward thinking is required. You just reminded me that mine got ill last year, so I left it to the vultures in a great tent graveyard in darkest Staffordshire. Argos special for me this year. tell
1) (and most important)Don't fall for a floppy haired hottie from the west midlands!! 2) Leave the Larger at home and just stick with the vodka. 3) Take more sausage and bacon for my camp stove. And charge the lads for their breakfast this time!! 4) Sleep in my own tent and actually get some use out of it this year 5) Not worry about what the other 15 of us is doing and just go where i want to go and see who i want to see, last year spent hours re-grouping and debating who to see etc... 6) Have a fantastic time! 7) start a thread for gay men... i want to get my buddie some festival fun this year, he's such a top bloke and deserves it :-)
