  1. Me too! Last saw them at The Joiners. Awesome 😎
  2. Yes I believe you can, as long as you have your WV paperwork - security are strict about checking. Btw it’s Pennard Hill Gate next to Strummerville, not King’s Hill Gate (not sure where that is?).
  3. Yes, parking sticker will be sent to you if you booked it separately. Mine was purchased with the tent booking, so it will be sent to the lead booker. You might be right about them not asking for reg numbers just names this year. Pretty sure they used to ask for reg numbers to make sure a G ticket was allocated. But maybe they don’t bother now, just turn people away at the gate 😁
  4. The emails were sent on Friday to lead bookers asking them to add the names and registration numbers of the people staying in their tent(s), plus the group name for multiple tent bookings. Your car park pass will be posted to the lead booker. Nearer the time, the lead booker will be emailed a bar code to distribute to everyone on the WV accommodation booking.
  5. I’m intrigued even more now. One for the list…thanks! 🙏🏻
  6. Me too. 2005 flash flooding was horrendous (but sort of fun) and you could sit on the ground by Sunday. 2007 was grim. Had to stand in a bin liner early hours of Monday morning when back at the car, to remove wellies and waterproof trousers in one go so I wouldn’t get mud on the inside of the car. Hard work to get around - think I lost half a stone in weight in the 4 days!
  7. Post Office hold onto secure mail for 2 weeks. But our postie usually just shoves the tickets thru the letterbox, no signature needed. But we do live in a house not a flat.
  8. The earliest I ever got them was on 11 May. The latest was the weekend before (a long time ago) 😬. Last year it was around 8 June, late enough to have me panicking. No pattern.
  9. Looking to fellow eFesters to recommend some of the acts on Mandala stage. Please and thank you 😊 🙏🏻
  10. Yes Pennard Organic Wines was great. They sold local white wine too, not just fruit wine, Sad to see it had gone last year.
  11. Kind of. It’s in a lovely setting, no really big name acts, fancy dress is embraced enthusiastically, lots of quirkiness, crowd is friendly, stuff goes on till early hours but not all night. More than its fair share of posh hippies/trustafarians - tend not to notice them as much at Glasto. All in all a thumbs up from me.
  12. I missed 2013 due to an epic fail of not understanding the *new improved* See Tickets booking system. Tried about 200 times to get the booking formS (yes, got several up) to progress to the “buy” stage. I went to Shambala instead which was great - but very different - and avoided the live BBC broadcasts. Friend managed to get a locals Sunday ticket through contacts in the town. Jealous much?!! 🤨
  13. Thanks. Never come across it at any festivals I’ve been to.
  14. Only seltzer I’ve heard of is an alka seltzer!
  15. Get the shuttle to Bath & West and get picked up from there. You have no idea how huge the site is until you get there. Honestly. You don’t want to be wandering around B roads for miles in the dark carrying all your stuff.
  16. +1 👆 exactly this. And wrap yourself in the blanket before getting in your sleeping bag. Ask a coffee stall to fill an aluminium water bottle with boiling water (make sure it’s in a thermal cover) before you hit the sack = hot water bottle for your sleeping bag, nice cool drinking water in morning (tip from trekking).
  17. Wasn’t gonna happen with this friend. One (of many) reasons why they’re now “ex”.
  18. Not even Nick Olivieri getting naked? Kind of stuck in my mind 😜 Brilliant gig. The music was quite good too…
  19. After missing QOTSA is 2011 due to an (ex) friend having a major strop and insisting I accompanied them to KT Tunstall 🙄 I’m crossing everything that they are the Other Sunday headliners 🤞🤞🤞 Saw them first on Halloween 2003 in Southampton Guildhall (Songs for the Deaf tour). Came on in Slipknot masks and ripped into Millionaire 🖤 In my all time top 5 gigs.
  20. Get in touch with See Customer Service. Your ticket just can’t have disappeared. It’s probably just a server glitch due to a failed payment attempt. Think I saw someone on Twitter having had a similar issue. EDIT: replied before I saw your post that you’d been successful. Hurray! 👏
  21. Sounds like it’s just the balance payment that failed. Your ticket won’t have disappeared. Check no money has been debited from your account, then try paying again. Could be the See server was busy in those minutes. Good luck!
  22. Balance paid - whoop 🙌 Money debited immediately from credit card. Was nerve wracking watching that timer count down!
  23. Cross-country to WV Wed morning. Arrive 8ish and park up. Short Q to gate 100m away. Wristbands. Wheelbarrow assistance to tent. Unpack. Open can of G&T and flop into chair soaking up the atmosphere while waiting for friends to arrive.
  24. Tea, porridge pot and bacon/egg bap* at tent. But as a Saturday treat, Shakshuka from the Lebanese stall in Park. It’s SOOOOO good, people stop by to ask what I’m eating. *cooked at tent
