I couldn't see another thread on this, so thought it wise to bring it all together in one place. a concoction of this is something I’m considering this time (ticket pending). Last year was the first time I really felt the late SE nights and was still feeling the comedown throughout the week after… or I just need to accept I’m getting old!

Unfortunately phone thefts are all too common, especially on the first nights, so I always use a little carabiner clip to connect my tent zip ties at night. Very easy to get off on the inside but makes it very hard to open from the outside. Only had it come into effect once when I woke up to someone moving my zip round. A swift kick and a shout before we jumped out to see them running off through the campsite.

Most excited about securing my ticket in the resale… and then watching the sunset on Wednesday night on the hill

That rumour has been around for a while hasn’t it? Weren’t they down to headline it last year but it got canned when their tour did. Can’t see them against AM or GnR though, so would mean them vs. Elton

Nearly £325,000! What an incredible campaign

Just announced Madison Square Garden for this weekend! edit - that is the Skrillex/Four Tet set rather than just Fred solo

Wasn’t hugely into the auction idea as it felt just another way to reward those with money - but that is an incredible amount of money going to a very good cause so hard to argue with that!

There’s not a huge difference - can access the interstate area between Pyramid and Other as well as hospitality camping, which has showers and toilets. They do also cost double the price of a standard ticket.

I wasn’t part of the resale club last year so it’s all a little unknown. The way I see it though is you try for your group first and then if successful move onto the next - our spreadsheet has mobile numbers so you can call the relevant person. It still feels like we’re in a bit of no man’s land still currently - not much point firming up the spreadsheets just yet as still so long to go! Once we have though it makes sense to share both in here so any efesters who want to help out can see what’s what. Until then, positive thoughts all round. Was great to see the first few of our group get ticked off through Oxfam the other week!

There will be some spaces appearing for sure. Change of plans, lack of comms and securing volunteer spots means that the groups will change. There’s not much point doing much at the moment though as still 2 months to go which is a long time and anything could happen - I would guess the groups will start finalising the lists towards the end of March/start of April

He’s also going to be announcing some big London gigs for September
