I always like it when headliners do ‘something’ to mark the occasion. Off the top of my head from the years I’ve been going: Jay Z - Oasis cover walk on Muse - had the Edge join them U2 - had a video link from space Coldplay (2011) - turned the pyramid different colours Arctics - used strings Stones - reworked Factory Girl into Glastonbury Girl. Also played 2,000 Light Years for the first time in years in a nod to the arctics Mumfords - invited a load of guests for a big singalong Kanye - had the crane Coldplay (2016) - had the bracelets, although I think they used these in their tour too Radiohead - hits setlist Stormzy - special guests and the ballet dancers Killers - special guests The Cure - hits setlist (although that might be common, I’m not sure) McCartney - special guests Kendrick - unique setlist and show Any I missed?

For what it’s worth; Madge was the act I heard in December. The info I was given didn’t fit with the tour rumours which is why I wasn’t convinced. As I said at the time though, I think the guy had his dates mixed up so I wouldn’t be surprised to see her on the bill next year

Yeah the BBC 6 one last year had a similar caveat. I think they even used the phrase “how excited you sound” in the T&Cs

@Jack.194 @J.B. and @Sameer are the spreadsheet/group organisers I believe. The first group has 100 names on it already at the moment but I believe the second group might have some capacity. There’s also bound to be some dropouts/inactive users etc. by the time we get to April!

Only tried the resale once myself as have worked other times I didn’t get through in October. I was successful that one time though - have also tried every year for other members of our group, probably around a 60% success rate over the past decade

Yep - the spreadsheet is currently set out with coach/main, usernames, reg details, postcodes and telephone numbers. Things can still change a fair bit between now and April but once everyone is confirmed we can share the spreadsheet here

This is a very important point! A few kind souls have already messaged to say they’ll be around to help but any other efesters who have the capacity to try in both the coach and/or main sale let us know!

Yeah don’t think we can compare this year’s resale to last years, as that was a bit of an enigma. That said, I wouldn’t say this year is going to be a ‘usual’ resale either with the cost of living bound to have some impact and the fact it’s a month later - with the resale likely to be towards the end of April, a lot of people will want to have got their summer plans sorted by then. It’s going to be a brutal resale, I’ve got no doubt about that, but as it stands currently we have as good of a chance as anyone!

Just checked and there’s 38/100 currently down for the coach on our sheet. I’m guessing things might still change between now and April for some people so once we firm up each list nearer the time, definitely worth sharing in here for any other efesters who want to/can lend a hand

Harry wasn’t brought up in what I’d heard. I was told AM Saturday and then the other I would class as pop, although that feels a bit of a disservice. As I said though, while they would definitely know, I feel they were just trying to big themselves up. They might be right, they might have misunderstood and it’s actually for ‘24, or it might have once been true and has since fallen through. I don’t know and didn’t push it as no one else there cared - I only mentioned here as I personally think we’re far from a lock in, especially with a few more big tours still to be announced for next year. Off topic, but as no one’s mentioned him for a few pages. Everyone’s favourite nepo baby DJ is also lining up some massive shows which, if they end up signing for the number of nights they’re in talks for, will mean anyone who’s not seen him yet will definitely get a chance

Don’t think they’ll be at Glasto but been told The Strokes are playing APE, trying to find out now if it’s part of a wider tour or a one-off
