Coat dilemma 1, Go with your Berghaus. It's a trusted friend. Coat dilemma 2, stick your big coat in a convenient lock up for easy retrieval if needed. Carry the other 2.

You can put anything you want in there. I used to put at least half of my cans in a bag and book them in on the Wed so that if I did get turned over, it wouldn't stop the party. First 2 nights are always the worst for thefts. Make sure you scatter any cans loose around your tent rather than leaving them as an easy grab in the shrink wrap.

You'll likely not be able to get your size at the inflated-price welly stalls if there's sudden demand either. True welly years don't happen often but it's a gamble I'm not prepared to take!

It will not be worse than '19. Whether you have a panic attack or not, it doesn't matter, you've got this. Get thee to a charity shop and buy a big-ass, long-sleeved shirt that's at least 2 sizes too big. Allocate a budget to buy baggy, stupid festival trousers from one of the stalls. Or a kaftan. Take a wee handbag brolly so you'll always have access to some approximation of shade.
