Mizydoscape

So I have an ancient Berghaus goretex waterproof that has seen me through many festivals in the past. Been washed and reproofed many times. It has now been demoted to my horsey coat and most recently kept me 90% dry during a riding lesson in the most biblical rain. It could be washed and reproofed again before I leave. For day to day wear I have replaced the Berghaus with a Joules waterproof that has seen light service and packs up smaller. It's also knee length whereas the Berghaus is shorter. However, it hasn't seen any proper rain and therefore is untested. Help me decide which goes in my bag this week please!

It was massively unlucky! We had to buy her a new tent which hasn't been stolen since and she'll be bringing it again this year.

My husband's mum had her empty tent stolen in 2015. We took it on the Weds and set it up so she could camp near us as she was arriving on the Thurs, and went out for the day. Came back to find it completely gone and other people pitched in the spot (don't think they were the guilty party). The girls behind us also had their tent stolen while they went back to the car for their second run. So it does happen but I imagine it's really rare.
