Its actually a little way up from the railway crossroads, on the main path but at the top of the Croissant neuf field, just before the hedgerow to the next field. And the lighting by that area, even in daytime its almost complete darkness! Gutted they weren't there last year. Why weren't they there, anyone?
They were missing in 2022 as well, I loved those little boats! 😥

That's probably why it's a such a good price, Yurtel their sister Glamping company costs a small fortune. I am grateful to own a caravan!

According to the website up to 5 people can stay on one pitch. The pitches are 5m x 5m so it's a decent size. 🙂

Anyone on the lookout for inexpensive glamping, there is a new site by Gate D, run by Yurtel. It's a pitch your own tent but it has lots of glamping facilities with prices from £250.00. Plus you get a 5 metre by 5 metre pitch, so you can pitch more than one tent with a maximum of 5 people on for the pitch for the same price! I would suggest that you contact them, there is a link in one of my replies above. Personally I think you are going to need to search down the back of a LOT of sofas! 😂

It doesn't look busy enough in West Holts to be Thursday afternoon. It's packed near the Brothers Bar and it's where #Twisto meet up at 2pm, it was busier than that as I recall.

The Accessible Campervans/Caravan site was moved into the right hand side of wicket. Its opposite Spring Ground Accessible Campsite which is just for tents now. It enables both Accessible fields to share the facilities.

It worked for me in 2022, I haven't volunteered since. Hopefully someone else can comment. 😊

This is the page to monitor, you will need to have set up an account to see it. You will also get alerts for all changes to other festivals too! It keeps the anxiety levels ticking over! 😂

I bought these in 2007 from Ian Gill Sculpture in The Greenfields. One is a stork and the other is an acorn leaf bird bath. My mum died in 2006 and my dad gave me her secret money stash he found in her purse. These both represent my mum, the stork being the carrier of babies and she carried me. And one of her sayings was "From Little Acorns, Mighty Oak Trees Grow". They always make me think of her even after all this time! 💗

I’d say the bus is more like 10 mins though. But be prepared to do a lot of walking up to Gate A!

It was in 2022 when I volunteered. I remember it being very hot and there were long queues for the minibus. Everyone waiting was very patient and just happy to be there which was lovely! 😀

My shift was 2pm to 10pm on Thursday and it was steadily busy until about 7pm.
On Wednesday some of my friends joined the very long queue at 6am and eventually reached the front at 11:15 am. By the time they got to Spring Ground both of them were absolutely exhausted and would never do it again. I know I couldn't physically queue like that which is why we go into E21 Forward Accessible Campervan site. 😊
