Unfortunately I was an 'essential worker' (read: barista) and was still working over lockdown, with absolutely zero chance of getting time off, so I didn't apply for anything bar Glastonbury 2020. Suppose we'll see next year whether they count that one!

Mine counted, that and Download 2020 gave me 7 in 7 priority. 🙂

Are they strict with the 9pm opening time on Tuesday for the car parks?

I heard they open them earlier, to relieve traffic in the local area

I recall it being about 7pm last year. We were already in East Campervan Fields (these open officially at midday) so saw people joining the ever growing queue at Gate C.

Have you considered that after you have parked you will need to walk the perimeter road to get to Gate A for a shuttle to either Bath & West for collection by car or Castle Cary for the train? You will be directed by parking steward where to park, you can't choose.  🙂

    Hello all,

We have a large group of us who all managed to secure tickets (unbelievable, I know). We hy to ave been quoted robbery prices for renting a private coach so are looking at public transport options, likely to stay in London the evening before and then head to Glasto via public train.

Anyone see any glaring problems with this plan or, have any sage advice to impart?

You might want to amend the title from Glasgow to Glastonbury. 🙂

Interesting. I only saw a post somewhere where it showed they couldn't get another one as their reg had been used.

That only comes up if a transaction has been completed before a new one is attempted. So if 2 people are trying at roughly the same time both can complete the transaction.

Here is the message, better than nothing but duplicates are still possible. On a positive note as least SeeTickets are cancelling and refunding the duplicate in full. 😊

Errrrrr..... I seem to have missed the camper van ticket sale.  It must have been announced with no email and then happened without me noticing.  Gutted as I'm taking two small kids and a trolley which makes off-site camping with shuttlebus pretty difficult.

I did see a post on Glasto Chat Facebook group (posted by a member of the shuttle bus staff) that sleeping kids in trolleys were fine using the shuttle buses. Just to try and avoid turning up directly after a headliner as there may be a bit of a wait. 😊

Friend of mine who we accidentally purchased two campervan tickets for against the one registration has had two emails from See tickets today saying that there are multiple campervan tickets against her registration and so they are cancelling both! She only ever wanted one (but two friends purchases at the exact same time) and wanted to get a refund on one of them but See seem to have decided to cancel both without consulting her.

Anyone else had the same email?

One friend ended up with 2 campervan tickets, they are only cancelling one though. Hope they get it sorted! Here is their email if it helps.

We had a few people trying for our group and 2 of us ended up with 3 tickets each for East quiet.

Didn't think this was possible !
Hope they don’t hang onto the £25

cancellation fee but I guess there will be 4 tickets back in the pot for the resale.

Use this email to prevent a charge and say you checked last year and were told it was one only!! 🙂

I'm looking to get in the E20 E21 E23 E 24 fields, what campervan patch do I aim to book for?

I have answered this in questions for you. 🙂

You need a quiet ticket, here is a map and photo of how the fields are separated. 🙂

Thanks both for confirming. How weird that they can so effectively block duplicate orders on the normal ticket sale but not on campers... is there a reason for that I wonder

It goes back to when you had to buy 2 campervan tickets if your live in vehicle was over 8 metres. This changed in 2017 to having to buy a large vehicle pass which are only available at Bath & West. So they have had plenty of time to fix it but have never bothered! Extra revenue I guess! 🤷🏼

I'm with you. But if you had two registrations - is there still only one slot to fill in or 2/some other number?

In other words how many distinctly different reg's could get a CV ticket in one sale?

There is only space for one registration number. But it all goes wrong when people have helpers and everyone buys one! SeeTickets deny it's possible and then try to charge a cancellation fee! 🙄

Always find it amusing that I get a better park up for my van than the Evis family and friends.

But do you have the front row overlooking the festival, a grand piano, sofas, hay bales and your own stage on a converted horse box? 😂

    Hi All,

Question for those who have used the camper section before. Would we be able to park a towed caravan which is 8 metres long itself in the east general section? Or more likely to be allowed this at Bath showgrounds? It does specify one vehicle in each pitch, does this mean the car which towed it cannot be parked in the same pitch? Just wondering how strict the rules are.

    Thanks for any assistance.

The towing vehicle can be parked with the caravan, however the caravan cannot exceed 8 metres. The caravan is not classed as a vehicle as it's a trailer. If in doubt of the length book Bath and West as it's a long drive if you are turned away due to the one way system. 🙂

Are E24 and E25 family caravan fields?   There was an excellent post last year on here somewhere from one of the parking marshals staying in what order they fill the fields up.
we’ve got kids with us this year so thought we might try the family fields, we’re not going to be arriving until Wednesday afternoon which every other year has plonked us in E14 or 15 which is a 2 can trudge☹️.   E24 would be a one cider stroll😀

You need to purchase an East Quiet Campervan Ticket, they no longer call them family fields, you now have to choose either Quiet (was family). or Standard (was General) here is how they fill the fields and the numbers of the fields.....☺️

Just trying to get organised for Friday: if I want a campervan East general tkt and I have three or four people on the case at noon, I should be ok right?  In fact is there a risk it could sell me more than one or does it only allocate one pitch per registration?

If you have several people trying you will end up with several tickets unless SeeTickets have fixed the issue. It's one per transaction, people have had as many as 6! Set up a WhatsApp group to communicate. 🙂

Hey, figured I would ask on this old thread....

I am wondering if I go for tickets in the resell and I fail to bag the 6 I need, could I request a refund?

Because the limit is 4 and I need 6 for my family there a chance I could only get 4 (slim chance getting any I know) I which case I rather not go at all then pick which of my kids and their partners to leave behind if that makes sense?

Yes you can, here is a screenshot and a link to the full ticket information page. Remember that you will need to pay in full to book. 🙂https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/
